Richard is a professional engineer, with an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He started his career as a reservoir engineer in the upstream oil and gas industry, progressing into the analysis, valuation and eventual leadership of technology related businesses within software, media, optical engineering and telecommunications.
